Chai Vanilla Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 1 quart Whole milk
  • 6 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp prepared Steeped Tea Cocoa Bean Chai, organic Chai tea
  • 1 Vanilla bean, split lengthwise
  • 3 scoops Vanilla ice cream
  • 1 Banana, ripe (optional)
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Chocolate Sauce (optional)

Directions

  1. Put 3 ¼ cups of milk, sugar, prepared Steeped Tea Cocoa Bean Chai, and vanilla bean in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  3. Turn of the heat, cover and leave for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain into ice cube trays and freeze until solid.
  5. Freeze 4 tall glasses.
  6. When ready to serve, pop the frozen chai cubes in a blender with the remaining milk and the ice cream and blend until smooth. (Add banana.)
  7. Top with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
