Chocolate Oolong Tea Loaf

  • 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup prepared Steeped Tea Creamy Milk Oolong tea, cooled
  • 1 ½ cups Flour
  • 2 cups + 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • A large pinch of salt
  • 2 sticks Unsalted butter - softened (16 tbsp)
  • 4 eggs, beaten


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).
  2. Mix cocoa powder and Steeped Tea Creamy Milk Oolong until smooth.
  3. Put flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a food processor and whiz to mix.
  4. Add the butter and roughly one-third of the eggs and beat together on medium speed for 1 minute.
  5. Scrape down the batter from the sides of the food processor.
  6. Add the remaining eggs and the cocoa mixture, and whiz again until smooth.
  7. Pour into 9x5x3 inch loaf pan, greased and lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the over for 45-55 minutes until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool.
