Gingerbread Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Molasses or honey
  • 1/2 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Hot Water
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 1/3 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Jolly Gingerbread Sweet Dip Mix

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375? F. Grease square pan, 8x 8x 2pan
  2. Beat molasses, butter, sugar, hot water and egg until mixed
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients and pour in pan
  4. Bake for 55-60 minutes
  5. Serve warm with caramel or butterscotch sauce
  6. *Adjust Jolly Gingerbread Sweet Dip Mix for more spice
